First of all you always need to measure the exact quantity of oil used in cooking and do not usually cast in glass measuring by eye. This will give you greater control over your weight. Although they are more expensive ,you need to buy pans that require little or no oil. These allow not only add a minimum amounts of oil, but you can use wine or water if you want to avoid fat completely. When you prepare a steak to pan add some water to remove the fat that result from boiling.
