Breakfast Recipes
1. Frittata Vegetables and Cheese
Ingredients:
- 8 eggs or 2 cups fat-free eggs and free cholesterol
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 / 8 tsp powder of pepper
- ½ cup grated cheese (swiss, or cheddar)
- two table spoons oil or butter of vegetable
- two cups chopped red bell pepper / green / yellow
- ½ cup chopped onion
Instructions:
1. Beat eggs, salt and pepper until well blended, add the cheese, set aside
2. Heat a fry-pan, saute peppers and onions until onions wilt
3. Pour the beaten eggs, cook with small-medium heat for 80-10 minutes until the egg hardens and turns golden brown underneath
4. Preheat the oven to broil (500 degrees F) enter fry eggs with it away broil for 2 minutes until golden brown egg surface
5. Cut like a piece of Pizza
Nutritional content: 190 calories, 1 gram fiber, 330mg sodium, 14 g fat (4 grams saturated fat), 12 grams protein, 300 mg cholesterol, 5 grams carbohydrate
